MALLORCA, Spain.
Mallorca made its mark this season, and our founder @shanigrimmond was right in the middle of it — basking in the island sun wearing our signature styles. From relaxed mornings to those endless golden hours by the water, this was the Sylk Summer we live for.
1. Where did you go in Mallorca?
I stayed in the heart of Palma for the first half of my trip, soaking up the city’s energy, wandering through boutiques, lingering in cosy cafés, and getting lost in its winding streets steeped in history and culture. Then I escaped to the calm coastline of Santanyí, where life moves slower. Days were spent discovering hidden coves, swimming in crystal clear water, eating the best homemade pasta at family-owned restaurants, and watching locals go about their days in the warm evenings. Experiencing both sides of Mallorca — the vibrant city life and the laid-back coastal charm, made the island feel even more magical.

3. What beach club would you recommend?
Gran Folies Beach Club is such a good spot - a little slice of Mediterranean glamour, perched right above the bluest water. Definitely book in advance because it gets busy, and I’d say go early as parking can be a bit of a mission, but so worth it once you get there.
4. Ideal Mallorca morning
No matter where I am in the world, the first thing I do is grab a double shot coffee… non-negotiable. In Mallorca, I was with a big group of friends, so after coffee we’d either go for a walk along the beach (those views never get old) or wander through the local markets before brekky. Honestly, how lucky were we?!
5. BEST PLACE TO GRAB GELATO
I had the coconut gelato at Gelati Mossa in Valldemossa and it was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The location was just dreamy, with cobblestone streets and the cutest little shops all around. We wandered through the village with our gelato, and it honestly felt like a movie.
6. WHICH SYLK SWIM SET DID YOU WEAR ON REPEAT?
Our Isla top paired with the Mateo bottom (in chocolate, of course) was the set I kept reaching for.
7. WHAT RESTAURANT WOULD YOU COME BACK TO?
Restaurante Il Paradiso in Palma, my favourite food of the whole trip! The most delicious Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with views that are just as amazing as the food. We ordered the prawn risotto, burrata, and a rocket prosciutto salad. My bestie Liv and I always share everything we order so we can try more dishes, and honestly, every bite was worth coming back for.
